Book clubs in Dublin
If you’re in Dublin, the capital city of Republic of Ireland and you are a book lover, you actually have an opportunity to mingle with other avid readers in town by accessing book clubs in the city libraries. These book clubs provide you a platform to spend hours chatting with people who love the same authors as you, or debating about the merits of a particular character/plot.

Ballyfermot Library

Ballymun Library

Evening Book Club meets on the last Monday of the month at 6.30pm
Baby Book Club, suitable for new born to 2 year olds, meets on Monday mornings from 10.00am to 10.45am (during term time – break during July and August). Baby Book Club includes stories, activities and toys.
Toddler Book Club is suitable for 2 year olds to pre-school and members meet on Thursday mornings from 10.00am to 10.45am (during term time – break during July and August). Toddler Book Club includes stories, activities and toys.
The Ballymun Murder Book Club meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 6.30pm.
The Science Fiction and Fantasy Book Club meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 6.30pm.
The Junior Book Club is suitable for 9-12 year olds and members meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 3.15pm.
Cabra Library
First Wednesday meets first Wednesday of the month at 7pm.
Points of View book club meets every second Wednesday of the month at 12pm.
Central Library
Page Turners meets first Monday of the month from 5.45-6.45pm.
Science Fiction meets second Tuesday of the month from 5.30-6.30pm. The current genre is ‘space opera’ as opposed to ‘hard science’ science fiction or fantasy.
Short Stories Book Club meets third Tuesday of every month at 5:45pm.
