Scrivener is a writing app that helps you with tasks such as research, organization, and formatting. The writing software was created by Literature and Latte. Scrivener has been one of the leading and most comprehensive software suites made exclusively for writers.
Scrivener is another good app used for formatting books. It is great for planning and writing your book and inexpensive. It doesn’t have subscriptions fees but you do have to pay again each time they update. This app can create both ebooks and print books. The challenges are that it is difficult to use to format a book. It is more of a writing program with ‘formatting’ capabilities and that’s probably why it offers limited formatting options. It does not have footnotes, callout boxes. You can actually use this to format your book and it will still end up good.
